Dexter's old daycare dressed him up one day.
We tried to get him to swim, but he did not like it.

  1. Sorry to hear about your breakup, but it's so good that you did what you knew you needed to do. You'll feel better! I wish I'd gone to a therapist after one breakup, and the other I wish I'd been honest with myself about it needing to end. There's a professor at the University here that almost all my friends had, and her line is "it'll be fine." I find myself saying it all the time to myself, because it will all be fine!

Also, our dog hated swimming at first, but now we can't keep her out of the water! I don't know what clicked. We haven't tried the pool, but she turns into a fish in a pond or the river! Maybe it's just a matter of time for Dexter, too :)

    1. Thank you for your kind words! I'm definitely doing well with all of the change. I just know I want to improve myself because that's the only way I will have a truly successful relationship. Its so odd because we both are fine and just genuinely want to be friends with each other. Perhaps that's what we should have been all along.

Dexter actually likes the ocean. I used to take him to a dog beach in San Diego and he would go in the little bay area and wade around after his ball. But he jumped into my parent's pool once and freaked. Now I live in Arizona so there's not much water :-)
